Today I crossed out the center wheel, a wheel of 80 teeth, Modulus 0.65. I used a template for the spokes made with Deltacad. The spokes were sawed with a number 00 jeweler's saw. The finish work was done with half-round files, a 3-edge scraper and 350 grit emery cloth, followed by steel wool.
The wheel was polished with 600 then 1200 then 1500 grit silicon carbide wet-and-dry paper, using water. Followed by a polish with a felt-covered stick with a bead of Simichrome polish.
