The escapement is a deadbeat crown wheel, like the Online clock building project. These have proven to keep excellent time.

The clock is an eight-day clock. The base is made of Brazilian rosewood.

The clock sits under an eight-inch dome.

Here's a version of this clock made in 2007 by Jack Kotowsky of Kelowna, B.C. He certainly did a nice job. Jack is an experienced machinist.

Jack also built the other crown-wheel clock which is the subject of the first Online Clock Building feature on this website, which shows that there's enough information on this website to build a clock.

He's now working on an even smaller version, which will fit under a 5 1/2" high dome.
